I have enjoyed photography as a hobby for nearly 20 years and have been working as the owner and lead photographer of Firesky Photography since 2007. My personal photography centers around the landscapes I've called home starting with my childhood in Alaska spent in the shadows of glaciers and high peaks. After high school, I attended college in the mountain sports mecca of Bozeman, Montana and spent months amid the high and wild parts of Washington, Utah, Wyoming, and South Dakota.
Today, northern Colorado is home and I regularly travel into Rocky Mountain National Park to photograph wildlife, landscapes and use it as a wild background for portrait work. I've had the great fortune to severald days in New York City with camera in hand and love the opportunity to work in urban environments but the mountains will always be 'home.'

I love the challenge of shooting sports and dance events -- just like the performers and athletes, you absolutely cannot miss when it matters. I have photographed family gatherings, weddings, and anniversary parties and love the chance to create unforgettable images. Most recently, I've photographed a number of small businesses and helped them build strong images used in marketing in print and on the web.

Cameras have followed me through Canada, across the US into Mexico, and have been constant companions throughout my life. Today, I shoot with Nikon professional digital cameras and edit on a Mac with top-of-the-line imaging software with the goal of sharing my art with those who truly appreciate it.
