Firearm Training & Instruction
Gun ownership for the new shooter is a minefield of misconception, hype, ego, and bad or no information. Few things can be more intimidating than driving home from the gun shop with a brand-new firearm and very little information on how it works, and, more importantly, how you'll use it.
Having worked as a full-time firearms trainer and range safety officer at one of Colorado's premier indoor shooting facilities, I offer my services as a firearms instructor to the general public and I'm happy to share my experience and "low ego" training style with law-abiding gun owners. I'm not here to show you how great I am with a gun - I'm here to show you the path to discovering the safe recreation and personal protection opportunities afforded by the legal ownership of firearms.
I've instructed new shooters and lifelong firearms enthusiasts. I am not only a skilled shooter but a skilled teacher. I take the time to understand my students' needs and strive to address their specific needs in one-on-one and small group instruction with a focus on hands-on training. All instruction begins with firearms basics and safe handling as these build the foundation of a positive shooting experience.
My instruction is tailored to your needs and I strive to provide you with as much hands-on experience as is practical in a given lesson. I have experience teaching individuals, couples and groups of all ages. I have instructed women and invite group lessons for ladies-only if you're looking for a non-intimidating environment in which to learn about guns.
